Akifumi Miyake (CEO)
Graduated from the Faculty of Policy Management, Keio University. Joined Macromill, Inc. in 2015, where Akifumi was involved in general marketing PDCA support work based on market research. After joining Three S Capital in 2020 where he worked in the professional services division, supporting research projects in various industries, including finance, manufacturing, and telecommunications. In May 2025, he founded ThinkFront, Inc.
Shogo Sawada (Head of Research, Senior Analyst)
Shogo began his career in 2012 at UBS Securities Japan, where he worked in Equity Sales for institutional investors. In 2017, he transferred internally from Tokyo to the firm’s Hong Kong office. From 2019, he joined an asset management company specializing in small- and mid-cap equities. Since 2021, he has accumulated experience in equity sales for global long-only funds at Morgan Stanley and in consumer sector coverage at Jefferies’ Equity Research division. He joined 3S Capital and ThinkFront in August 2025.
Yuko Nara (Senior Analyst)
In 2012, she joined UBS Securities Japan Co., Ltd., where she covered the precision machinery and consumer electronics sectors in the Equity Research Department. From 2013, she worked in the Capital Markets Group of the firm’s Investment Banking Division, covering sectors including transportation, infrastructure, and real estate. In 2018, she started working in Citi Group Securities’ Investment Banking Division, where she was responsible for the automotive and general trading company sectors. In May 2023, she joined 3S Capital, taking on the role of Director and CFO of CareCraft, driving the launch of new business initiatives. Leveraging her experience as an analyst, she has supported ThinkFront as a group advisor since before its establishment.
Shun Furukawa (Senior Advisor)
Shun started his career in 2007 at UBS Securities Japan, working in the real estate team with responsibilities across M&A advisory, financing, and syndicated loan transactions. In 2015, he was appointed CFO of Smart Shopping, Inc., where he oversaw not only finance but also HR, back-office operations, and business development. In August 2017, he founded 3S Capital and has been engaged with ThinkFront since its establishment.
